Project Description

Lift Maintenance

CANTERBURY CHRIST CHURCH UNIVERSITY

Canterbury Christ Church University was founded in 1962 by the Church of England, in order to meet the needs of church schools during a time of teacher shortage. The university consists of two campuses and teaches over 15,000 students.

Liftec was awarded the lift maintenance contract at Canterbury Christ Church University in 2010 for the 59 passenger lifts at the Canterbury and Medway Campuses, through a successful tender process with lift Consultants de Graaff & Partners.

The contract with Canterbury Christ Church University is for a comprehensive lift service which covers maintenance, repairs, twelve annual service visits, callout and out-of-hours services. The contract has been renewed year on year to which is a relationship we are very proud of.

Liftec’s Service Engineers follow a vigorous reception procedure to check in for maintenance and repair work and adhering to the security requirements for access to Campus keys and work permits.

As part of the contract, we provide site-specific reports which included Response Times, Call History, Inspection and Completed Servicing. The reports are sent to the nominated parties i.e. Canterbury Christ Church University representative and de Graaff & Partners.
