What can we do?
- Ensure stability of oil temperatures in your hydraulic lift. The oil in the tank needs to remain in a temperature controlled environment – not dropping below 5 degrees. A key sign that the oil is being affected by the cold is if your lift isn’t levelling when it reaches a floor, as the motor is unable to turn.
- Prevent dry rails from causing unpleasant noises in the shaft, by keeping them lubricated.
- Maintain or modernise an older lift. Sometimes, the age of the lift may affect the way it reacts to colder temperatures. We can make seasonal adjustments to help with the smooth running of your lift, or undertake a full lift replacement in order to ensure for the continued running of lift throughout the year.
