Last month, the Liftec team hosted our annual Coffee Morning at our Dartford office, in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. A delightful variety of cakes were baked, over 600 raffle tickets were sold and we raised an excellent total of £316.87.

A  unique range of gifts were donated for this year’s raffle which included a selection of original paintings by our storeman Paul, a 3kg bag of jelly snakes and a 63% proof bottle of rum. A big thank you to those who kindly donated!

Fun competitions such as ‘Name the Bear’, ‘How Sweet is Jar’ and ‘Star Baker’ also took place during the morning.  Graham successfully picked out the winning name of the bear out of a draw (Mushroom), whilst Sophie was spot on with her sweet jar guess which was 268 sweets.

Liftec’s ‘Star Baker’ for 2019 was Garry’s wife who kindly made her famous chocolate mint cheesecake. It was fab! We would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who got involved and baked.

Our Directors were all pleased with the turnout and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated. For any interested parties that wish to support this great cause, please visit the Macmillan website.
