Liftec has always maintained a high regard for workplace safety, irrespective of where our employees work. To support this, during the latter part of 2020, Liftec was officially accredited to the ISO 45001: 2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management standard, which was a huge achievement for all our team.
Our work to help achieve this included revisiting and strengthening our existing Health & Safety management systems and processes, with the focus on reducing the risk of close calls and incidents occurring in our offices, onsite and during business travel. Our processes are not only designed to protect our staff but also those who come into contact with us when working.
Before receiving the accreditation award, Liftec’s Occupational Health & Safety Management and Environmental Management Systems and procedures were all externally assessed by Bureau Veritas.
As we move forward in 2021, we will continue to ensure that Liftec engineers take an active role in health & safety across every project they undertake and keep the focus on only delivering the best practices, with complete awareness of the shared environments.
