AstraZeneca, one of the World’s leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology brands, is a name that gained worldwide public awareness, as a result of their COVID-19 vaccines. Renowned for their life-changing medicines, AstraZeneca are focused on high-quality delivery from all of their suppliers. Although not all of AstraZeneca’s lifts transport time-critical products, employees in most of their locations rely on multiple lifts to ensure safe and efficient movement around their buildings.
Since October 2019, in partnership with CBRE, Liftec Southern engineers have been maintaining the 25 lifts located across AstraZeneca’s Milton Science Park, Academy House and Eastbrook House offices in Cambridge and their manufacturing site in Macclesfield.
Liftec’s lift maintenance contract relates to a combination of passenger lifts and goods lifts, needed to provide reliable transport of medical products and AstraZeneca’s staff and visitors.
