Liftec are very proud of our long-standing relationships with Borough, City and District Councils across the UK which is underpinned by the level of service we provide, the communication we have and our quick responsiveness to calls for assistance.
One of the key features of the services we provide, that residential property managers appreciate, is that we employ locally-based engineers who, over time, become well-known to many residents of the properties that contain lifts maintained by Liftec.
A good example of this is that of one of the smaller councils like Lewes District Council, where Liftec Southern have been assisting with lift maintenance for some time.
Lewes District Council manages the properties across a small collection of Sussex towns including Newhaven, Seaford, Telscombe and Peacehaven. Our initial 2017 contract related to a selection of lifts that had been previously underperforming. At that time, the Council’s key issues related to lift reliability.
With our contract commencing, our engineers were quick to address the lift reliability issue and also improve ride quality, providing the residents in the occupied buildings the level of lift availability needed to avoid accessing their homes via a staircase.
Following on from our contract award in 2017, Liftec has successfully been re-awarded the comprehensive maintenance contract with Lewes District Council, based on our service delivery and competitive pricing.
