Maintaining lifts in authority-owned and managed residential properties can present many challenges that generally orientate around communication with residents, if a lift becomes unreliable or suffers vandalism.
Apart from the obvious need to be competent, engineers working in residential environments, irrespective of residency type, also have to have good customer relationship skills.
Liftec are very proud of the long-standing relationships we have with various Borough Councils and Housing Associations which has rewarded with positive recognition and feedback, along with successful tender wins which have been consistent year on year.
During the COVID-19 lockdown periods, we have continued to support all our customers, particularly those in multi-occupancy blocks where there is a likelihood of some residents living with mobility issues. Our work has been carried out adhering to the Government’s strict COVID-19 requirements and the need for social distancing.
Three of our latest reference sites include:
- Enfield Council – for the maintenance services of 117 of the Council’s passenger lifts.
- Richmond &Wandsworth Council – for the maintenance of their 284 essential passenger lifts.
- Hammersmith & Fulham Council – for the maintenance and repair work for 195 lifts.
