Project Description

Lift Maintenance

ENFIELD COUNCIL

Accommodating over 300,000 residents, Enfield Council is one of London’s 32 borough Councils and covers 27 districts including Edmonton, Arnos Grove and Southgate.

Before commencing our 2017 maintenance contract, Liftec had previously won and completed a contract for the major and minor refurbishment works for 117 of the Council’s passenger lifts. This work was undertaken whilst the incumbent lift maintenance company still held the maintenance contract.

Liftec was approached by the Council’s lift consultants MAND (PLS) in August 2017, with a request to tender for the Council’s maintenance contract which related to its passenger lifts.

Liftec won the maintenance contract following a detailed and competitive tender submission and communication with MAND (PLS).

One of our KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) for the Council relates to high passenger usage levels across most of the lifts in its properties. Liftec’s maintenance processes and procedures are carried out by our engineers to comply with regulatory standards, vital for lifts in the public area and a KPI, which is important when recording lift performance and potential issues. However, for the residents, our objectives are to ensure the lifts continue to perform safely and reliably for those travelling in and around their buildings, especially for any with mobility issues.
