BRIGHTON & HOVE CITY COUNCIL – LIFT MAINTENANCE

During 2011 Liftec was awarded a long-term framework agreement by Brighton & Hove City Council. The award was for the maintenance, repairs and major and minor refurbishments of 234 lifts owned by the council.

Liftec’s locally-based engineers are responsible for providing a 24-hour, 365-day emergency call-out service, along with the routine and ongoing maintenance requirements of the building’s lifts.

The contract with BHCC requires Liftec to provide preventative planned maintenance service. Liftec had to undertake a detailed appraisal of each of the 234 lifts, before creating a schedule of repair and minor refurbishments work to submit to Brighton & Hove City Council for approval. We ensure that all lifts performed with a safe and reliable service in each building.

Our contract covers from 7-17 floors and low to high rise buildings. Liftec engineers routinely work in residential buildings, like those owned by the council and frequently work in close proximity to resident’s apartments. We take extra care to ensure that noise and disruption are kept to a minimum.
