OXFORD UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST
The daily demands on lifts in challenging environments, especially ones as crucial as those in the healthcare sector, have to be backed up by exemplary lift maintenance and servicing. Having rapid access to an experienced and friendly lift engineer, when a lift fails or is damaged in service, can make all the difference to a stressful experience for both facility managers and lift passengers alike.
When it comes to responding to customer calls for assistance and providing exemplary lift maintenance across all sectors including healthcare, Liftec can help. For Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, we have been continuously providing just that since 2015.
Although Liftec have a longstanding and continuous work record with this NHS Trust, we still have to annually tender for our maintenance contract for the 38 lifts located across the Trust’s four hospitals. During our pre-qualification, Liftec’s 100% commitment to safety and efficiency has assisted in us being routinely awarded the contract.
Due to the variation in the operational status of some of the lifts, Liftec have worked with the Trust to bring all of the 38 lifts up to the required standards set by the Trust’s building management.
Liftec’s contract with the Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to undertake lift maintenance and repair services relates to the following sites:
- John Radcliffe Hospital
- Churchill Hospital
- Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre
- Horton General Hospital
