Liftec has maintained both long-standing and positive relationships within the University sector, providing a variety of universities across the UK with a range of lift maintenance and modernisation solutions, to keep students, lecturers and visitors on the move.
One of our university customers, Royal Holloway, University of London, formally known as Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, is a customer that Liftec has worked with for some time providing under contract a call-out service, maintenance and repairs. The University was established 120 years ago and features 25 academic departments including Media Arts and Business & Management.
Our maintenance contract was originally awarded in 2009, which followed on from our identification and rectification of ongoing reliability issues with the University’s lifts. Our contract has been continuously renewed as a result of improved lift service quality and competitive tendering. Liftec’s maintenance contract with the Royal Holloway includes maintaining the 45 essential passenger lifts throughout the Campus.
